Story of the Bard

Chapter 1


In the world of Pokemon, everything is always full of first steps. Trainers getting their first Pokemon, a Pokemon being caught by its first Trainer, even Pokemon hatching from eggs begins their first step in life.
But Trainers and Pokemon aren't the only ones having their first step into the world.
In the peaceful forest of the Kalos Region was a small house, the sound of a small whimper came from inside. Inside a small crib laid a baby.
A woman with long bright-blue hair came into the baby's room. She walked towards the crib, smiling softly to her newborn. She swooped the baby from its crib gently, still smiling.
" Oh, my little one, " the woman said in a soft tone. She gently rocked her child, the baby gave a small smile to its mother.
" Sadie. " gently called a calm male's voice.
The woman, Sadie, turned to see a man with spiky dark hair at the doorway of the baby's room. The man gave a gentle smile as he walked inside.
" How is he? " asked the man, smiling softly at the baby in Sadie's arms.
" He just woke up, " Sadie said to him calmly.
The baby slowly looked towards the man and smiled, reaching his tiny hands out to him. The man smiled, Sadie handed her husband the baby carefully.
" My little boy, " the man held his son gently in his arms, nuzzling the baby boy gently. The baby giggled softly, grabbing a bit of his father's hair in a softly grip.
" Oh my. Jasper. " Sadie giggled softly, watching the baby playing with his father's- Jasper's- hair!
Jasper laughed softly, gently prying his son's hand off his hair.
" You've got a soft, strong grip there, Nando, " Jasper said to the baby.
Nando, the baby, gave a happy smile to his father.
Jasper and Sadie looked at their baby boy happily, they never wanted to give him up.
The couple took Nando downstairs, where some people and Pokemon awaited them.
A Glanmeow rubbed against Sadie's legs, purring gently.
Two other couples saw the Sadie and Jasper with the baby, and smiled proudly.
" Oh, there's our little grandson, " said a woman with long black hair.
She wore a flowing red dress with gold trimmings, beautiful ruby slippers and a gold band over her hair. She walked over to the couple, smiling to the little their child. The woman's Pokemon, Furfrou, also went over to them, looking up to see the baby in Sadie's arms.
" Nando just got up from his nap, mother. " Sadie said calmly to his mother.
" This is his very first time seeing all of you, " Jasper said to the people and Pokemon in the room. " Please, be gentle. "
Another Furfrou, a black one, went up to the couple to see the baby, too. Both Furfrou wagged their tails, happy to see the baby.
A man in a labcoat walked over to them, smiling gently to baby Nando.
" You are a lucky man, Jasper. " said the man in the labcoat.
" Thank you, Professor. " smiled Jasper.
Professor Sycamore gently reached a finger to the baby, who happily grabbed it in his soft, strong grip. Nando gently nibbled on Sycamore's finger.
Everyone laughed softly at the baby's cute play.
Everyone loved meeting Nando for the first time, and Nando felt the same way about everyone else.
To everyone, Nando was unique!
